Our History

Spur Technologies Pte Ltd, formerly known as Spur Communications Pte Ltd, was established since 1996 as a company that undertakes infrastructure engineering activities in the cellular industry. We specialized in providing engineering services to cellular operators and equipment vendors in areas of network design / planning, network deployment as well as network operation & maintenance. Starting as a local company based in Singapore, we have developed RF engineering (Eg: in-building network solutions) and civil work construction (Eg: Greenfield tower construction) as our key competencies and have since established our presence in the region.

Our Future

Moving into the new millennium, with the rapid evolution and convergence of information and communications technology (ICT), we recognized that both telecommunications industries as well as information technology are on the verge of unprecedented transformation. The emergence and acceptance of broadband wireless and Third-Generation (3G) cellular network technologies accelerated the needs for traditional telecommunication system integrators to acquire knowledge and experience in data communications, internet protocol (IP), as well as software development on top of the traditional experience in RF engineering.

With the objective to provide end-to-end quality engineering services to cellular operators and equipment vendors, we have developed a pool of IP engineers by forming strategic partnerships with various IT / IP companies in Singapore. With the establishing of these strategic partnerships, the company went through a re-branding exercise in which Spur Communications Pte Ltd was renamed as Spur Technologies Pte Ltd. Spur Technologies Pte Ltd, with a pool of experience RF and network design engineers who have worked in various cellular projects, supported by a team of competent and committed IT / IP professionals from our strategic partners, is well positioned to serve the current as well as future needs of the telecommunications industries as a preferred solution provider of engineering services.
